How do I get over the fear of people judging me while at the gym? I don’t like going alone and I feel very anxious whenever I go alone.

Honestly, you just keep going. The more comfortable you get with the place and machines it's easier to feel like you belong. It's panic inducing but just keep pushing anyway

Just remember you belong as much as the next person AND no one really cares what u doing. I remember when I was starting out sometimes people would correct me and this is an adjustment since it bruises the ego. Just remember people often just want to help

I had this same fear when I started. I found that people that are paying attention to you just want to help. And you’ll realize that you don’t pay attention to anyone in there, vast majority of people are the exact same. Just minding their own business.

I have never looked at anyone in the gym and judged them. The gym is a place all of us go for self-improvement. Just remember that we’re all at different levels in this personal journey. I understand that going alone can be a bit daunting, but keep reminding yourself of the reason you’re there. If you just focus on your end goal, you will also overcome your fear and anxiety about the gym. Plus, if you need help, feel free to ask an employee or gym bro about how to use a machine. We won’t bite.
