Agree but don’t body shame. It’s hard asf already for fat people to go to the gym and it’s 99% NOT a fat person that did this because we’re so hyper-vigilant about trying to be perfect so we won’t get bullied (more than we already do, at least)

you had me until you called them a fat fuck. have you not seen a power lifter?? fat doesnt equal weak, not everyone has the same gym goals as yours. if this post is about respecting the gym, respect the community too

I genuinely don’t understand why people do this (outside of being lazy). Like what are you using them for if you can’t pick them up lmao

I work at Lifetime and I constantly have to pick peoples weights off the floor. They literally stack them on top of each other on the floor. PUT THEM BACK

if you can pick them up to use them, you can put them away. i say this as someone who used to struggle hard to lift them

I will say, if they don’t fit on the weight rack (because of bad design), I get it. Regardless, they still a bum.

Use it as more an adjective to describe their mentality, I honestly don’t see powerlifters or linebackers or any bigger people as fat until they are lazy, don’t take care of themselves, and use their body as an excuse rather than a determination. I am a former fat kid.

doesnt really matter if you were a former fat kid, i actually assumed so from the start. most people like you project onto your past selves and push it onto others. lots of fat people dgaf about being fat and to each their own. literally just be respectful

Yeah because one set of weights magically doesn’t fit on the rack

AnonymousOP16w
You’ve never encountered it when the weights don’t fit, like the 25 is on the top slot, and the 45 does t fit under it?

Anonymous#1216w
No never, use the rack how it’s designed and it works

Don’t worry I’ve encountered it. It’s mainly the local owned gym owners fault for overloading the rack or it doesn’t have labels and people don’t bother to put it back correctly
