You can't put on a noticeable amount of muscle in 2 months. You can take off a noticeable amount of fat in that time by eating less calories

I’m not sure if you’re looking to weight lift but if you are try seated row (cable and machine), lat pulldown, and reverse chest flys

Do what both number 1 and number 2 said. Eat slightly less and do more cardio so you can lose fat while putting on muscle

And making sure you get stronger, muscle growth comes to those who train hard

Way too little cals. Ur body probably is at a super low maintenance and in survival mode now. Do a refeed and start eating Whole foods, lifting, and getting lots of steps.

Bro she should not be eating less at all. That little calories is dangerous already. Body is at a lower maintenance

"Survival mode" is not a real thing. If she's not losing weight she's eating enough calories to sustain her normal level of activity. Most likely case scenario is an underestimation of calories, but either way, eating more calories is rarely a better path towards losing weight

If she’s been eating that way for a long enough time then her body will hold on to all the fat it can. So yes that’s survival mode. But yes if she just started eating that much then she should keep at it. But still, 1000 calories is very very low and really not sustainable

I’m 107 lbs and 5’1 for context. Is that not enough food?

Doing any back workouts right now will just really make your back bigger, stay in a caloric deficit, don’t eat two hours before bed or two hours after you wake up. Try to lift while fasted and take in caffeine, lots of water, clean carbs, protein, and ultimately write your goals down as you need to have clear and realistic standards set before you chase your goal.
