From my experience: while you're right that lifting can't do anything to change genetics/anatomy, it CAN divert some of that negative body dysmorphia attention to other parts of your body you'll begin to feel proud of. The comparisons to others is a separate issue I don't think I can comment on...
3. As someone who graduated HS at 6’2” 140lbs and is now 180lbs I promise you will see growth it just takes time and dedication - genetics do play a factor in your maximum potential size but raising your test through good sleep and healthy eating will rly help 4. Like others said, stop comparing yourself to other people and compare yourself to who you were last week
i really didn’t want it to be suited for those instead though 😞 i wanted to be suited for lifting so i could look as closely to the guys on insta as possible. and i know there are health benefits to lifting, but those didn’t mean much if i’d still feel poorly about myself compared to other guys. i feel like if i don’t compare myself, someone else will. as is, the things you notice about yourself, other people notice too - it’s a netter if they vocalize it or not
