I have an autoimmune disorder so im always sick but I want to stay consistent in gym does anyone have any tips

Can you identify what type of exercises trigger worse responses for you? I never do high intensity cardio and rarely do powerlifting-esque training anymore, but mobility work, walking, and hypertrophy training can feel right for my body when the other variables (nutrition, sleep, hormones, the list goes on) are solid

It's gonna also depend a lot on your specific illness, I have celiac + thyroid imbalance + a lot of vitamin/mineral deficiencies from gastrointestinal damage + suspected POTS. DMs are open if you want to talk more 🫶

when I do that the next day im so faint and fatigued. I feel sore for the rest of the week

I get that too. Not as often though. I just make sure to hydrate and eat a lot and then take it easy the next however many days I need. Even if all I do is hop on a bike or a treadmill, I make sure to go. But I know we are not going to have the same responses

I get this sometimes, NSAIDs and water and heating pads help me recover faster from muscular pain but the joint pain lingers especially bad in these colder months

Yeah the endorphins are like magic but I think it peaks cortisol for me
