I’m trying to lose fat. Right now I’m eating 1600 cals per day (usually a little less) and I’m like moderately active. I burn ~ 500+ calories per day plus taking 8-10000 steps per day walking to and from class n stuff. Will this help w fat loss?

Yes but you would be able to get more of a result by incorporating some strength training such as weight lifting. Muscles burn fat, so focus on eating high protein and building muscle

Yes! That’s a great integration of two different kinds of training! Just make sure that with your weight lifting you do progressive overload (increasing weight over time) and don’t just stay stuck with one weight forever. Every week, try to pick up and use a heavier weight—even just half a pound every week is great! And please make sure you’re fuelling your body as needed. You can’t build muscle by under eating and screwing your metabolism. Good luck on your journey!
