So for gym etiquette, do y’all think it’s rude to ask to work in with someone? I was talking with my family over Christmas break, and it seemed the older people (40+) always seemed to think it was rude to ask while people (39 and under) are ok with it.

Not rude. If they have 2 sets or less left I’m ok to wait but any more than that and it’s rude to not let someone work in

Not rude at all. Especially if it’s a crowded gym, then it’s pretty rude to not let someone work in tbh.

Though, I generally ask someone if they want to work in if they ask how many sets I have or something. I also don’t ask to work in, I just accept if they ask if I want to
