wouldn’t being at maintenance at a time decrease the likelihood of muscle loss that can occur with that harsh of a caloric decrease?

perchance could you elaborate more? also i feel like going back to maintenance at least briefly could help with hunger discipline problems especially if it’s someone’s first major cut. i’m just trying to learn

This is what I'm thinking 😭 but I'm also gonna feel so disgusted w myself by the end of this bulk that it might be kinda easy to just jump right into the cut. I'm already really struggling and I still have 2 weeks left 😔

Muscle loss comes from rapid weight loss, not a rapid change in your average caloric intake. And the end of a bulk is the easiest time to mentally to lose weight while your body naturally wants to reject surplus calories
