I'm a girl, 5'7, 297lbs. I'm on week one of my weight loss journey. I've been doing an hour of treadmill everyday because I get no steps in during the day. I've been maintaining a healthy diet. Any tips/advice to lose weight?

I lost ~100 pounds, and the vast, vast majority of the progress was attributable to walking. You need to build momentum, psychologically, that is the key, and if you do what you’re doing religiously, you will.

High protein! Its more filling and helps put on muscle which increases your metabolism

Between exercise and your diet find a decent calorie deficit, most importantly that you can maintain. You could lose 3 pounds a week if you wanted, but you’d be tired and hungry all the time and it wouldn’t work in the end because it’s unsustainable. If you can find a deficit that works for you it’s just a matter of waiting.

stairmaster - it will help you put on muscle at the same time to increase your metabolism so you get to your goal faster
