i haven’t been able to go to the gym for about a year (injury and mental health related) and i gained about 20-30 pounds. i hate my body i hate how i look and i feel like the gym was all for nothing. any tips on getting back into it ? i want to change but

“If you’re nothing without the suit, you don’t deserve it” That being said you are more than the number on the scale and you should give yourself grace. Start small with returning to the gym and take weekly progress photos fasted/same time of day. Don’t fight for every inch of ground right now, allow yourself to fall back in love with the gym at your own pace. You got this!

just can’t break the feeling sorry for myself and then disgusted and then helpless and then back to feeling bad. just some words of wisdom or something that helped you through a tough time would be much appreciated
