So basically, I’m a grad student who’s booked up 9am-8pm basically every day. I don’t like mornings, so I workout at night. Problem is dinner. When I’m done for the day I’m really hungry. I cant hold off on eating til after the gym because I wont have the energy. If I eat before, then I’d basically need a second dinner after I’m done working out anyways for protein and stuff. I guess I could split my usual dinner in half, but I’m curious if anyone has other suggestions

you realistically may have to go to the gym in the mornings, sounds like that would fit your schedule way better. if you do at the end of the day, def have a pre workout meal before the gym and then dinner after

You’ll just have to do mornings. I’ve recently had to make this change too I like night gym but morning gym realistically made sense it’s rough but you just gotta do it

Eating right before you go to bed esp heavy protein etc is not good for your cholesterol long term - they say to eat at least 1.5 hours before bed. Agree with #2 morning lifts suck but once you’re used to them that’s probably the best schedule for you
