i still work out. it reduces pain for me. i do skip jiu jitsu sometimes though

My cramps are bad so I just take medicine 30 ish minutes before my lifts. And I give myself some grace too. I try to get my fav pre workout in and take my time during lifts.

Sometimes I have to just take the week off depending how many other things Im doing/how bad the pain is/how much meds are working/etc etc. the workout isnt really the issue its the getting there to do it

definitely. mine are pretty manageable cuz my birth control has over time made them less annoying and painful (i rarely have them but when i do it’s not bad at all). but i’d go either way lol. got advil on me at all times

I have a copper IUD so my periods are super heavy and painful but working out is the best way to help with that (in my experience)

I also find it can be frustrating though because I tend to drop about 5 lbs across all my exercises at that point in my cycle so sometimes I just wanna avoid the bad mental
