How much protien do I need to eat if I’m doing body recomp? I’m 180 lbs, 5’8, female. I’ve heard to have 1 gram per body weight, 1 gram per goal body weight, 100 grams, and I’m confused.

120-140g protein. Higher end of that spectrum

i would aim for 120 for recomp but if you really want to emphasize muscle growth and getting a fatty the more protein the better

If your goal is to loose weight you don’t need that much protein. People always wanna emphasise protein and it’s important but it’s too much. I would start with like 100 grams of protein and eating low carb and high fiber. Don’t completely cut out carbs though just eat lesser.

I’m also trying to build an ass along with losing weight, would you still recommend 100?
