Heyyyyyy question time!!! So I'm 5'7 180-185 ish and I'm really trying to lose weight. Before college started(or second puberty) I was 5'6 and 145.....I've been trying to lift and workout but I'm not sure the best route to lose weight. Lmk!!

Keep weightlifting going paired with some form of cardio (steps, stairmaster, incline treadmill, etc…),and a diet that has you at a moderate caloric deficit (400-800 cals). Also make sure to eat between 0.8-1.0 grams of protein per pound of goal bodyweight

Walk after every meal, sleep 9 hours a night, and choose a deficit you can stick to for a prolonged period. If that means staying close to or at maintenance but walking more, so be it. Track your lifts, weigh yourself every morning fasted, and take progress photos at the end of each week fasted under the same lighting/poses.

Thank you so much!! Also for the calorie deficit is that how much I should eat in a day or do I subtract my calories burned from the total I eat?

Subtract the deficit from your maintenance cals to determine how many you should eat daily
