He might, his believers haven’t…. Been called a million awful things by church people and I don’t plan on ever going back or being associated with it ever again. I’ll fight for your right to live your life that way, always, but it’s just not for me. Wishing you peace and love tho ❤️

Church hurt is real. I get that. But why would you let people who have sinned their lives and claimed Christ dictate your relationship with Him? It’s like saying I’ve been hurt by a medical student so I believe all hospitals are fake and full of it. There are good and bad Christians yes and their day of judgment will come

To go along with your analogy, wouldn’t it be reasonable for that person to still be kinda wary about going back to a hospital again?

Being wary is one thing but to cut it off is entirely different. This is the same thing between being skeptical and cynical of Christianity. You can be skeptical and to ask questions however by lumping all Christians into one group is dangerous because you’ve cut out so many that will spread love, compassion, and what Jesus preached about.

It’s not that I’m cutting them out I just don’t feel like risking getting hurt again, I’m just choosing to love from afar is all, for the sake of my own peace

Your decision is your decision but Jesus wants a relationship with you. The phone is ringing constantly. It’s up to you to answer it. Yes some churches judge people for small things that don’t matter all that in the long run. Read Luke 6:41-42. We as Christians all need to be better at this because we are all sinful and constantly need to pick up our crosses daily.

Praying for you, love. I’m sorry you’ve been hurt by other Christian’s. I was an atheist for a long time cause of the way I’d see some act. The amazing thing is Christ isn’t them. He’s perfect, loving, and all forgiving. I hope you can find him and your peace one day💜
