So I’m skinny with a bit of a gut, have decent genetics and want to really enlarge my arms and chest while cutting down on my gut and maybe even having my abs show. I’m 19 5’10.5 And 163 lbs what should I do to achieve that goal?

Literally just follow a decent workout plan and watch ur diet, it’ll come in time. Anything that promises to be quick and easy is a scam or drugs

Cut out processed foods as much as you can, hit abs 3 days a week and stay consistent

My problem is I’m also weak as fuck I’ve never lifted before and my first time going I could only bench 65 for like 5 reps at a time

And that’s not a problem, everyone starts from somewhere. Like I said this stuff takes time and dedication, you’re gonna need to make a plan and stick to it for a few months to years before you look like the rock or any fitness influencer online. The fact you’re even wanting to go to the gym is great and a bigger step than most people

Nah I def don’t want to look like the rock lol, I want big arms but nothing crazy and I’m fine if my abs aren’t like crazy defined as long as they are decently visible

My advice still stands tho all you need is a workout routine and to watch ur diet, everything comes from consistency and time

That’s what I did starting out, ChatGPT or other AI is decent too as long as you don’t take their advice as law, or find a gym bro to help you w proper form and stuff and kinda just copy their routine until you can start to figure things out for yourself. Oh and also you’re gonna need a lot of protein
