I’m thinking of starting a GLP-1 for weight loss bc it’s been 3 years of trying to lose weight and I haven’t had any luck. I really truly have been staying consistent to my diet and working out consistently, I still am so overweight, any suggestions .

try recomp. my body gets stagnant w the same routine after awhile so i’ll either switch up macros (more protein, less carb, more deficit, etc.), or workout (heavier weights, different cardio, etc.); supplements can also help (like creatine for muscle recovery) & intermittent fasting

I think I may need to switch away from fasting bc I only eat a meal a day at the moment and that’s like a lot of food for me. I may need to change my routine though. I just don’t know what to do, bc I hammer cardio with heavy weightlifting and it does nothing

hmm, maybe try smaller high-protein meals throughout the day and/or switching up the workouts to lower intensity

That sounds like the move tbh. It’s been difficult navigating through med school how to eat more consistently. But I think me not eating thru out the day for so long may be what’s messing me up

ye trust me i’ve had to experiment so much it’s hard especially being a student, but for me longer fasting made me crash / overeat more so its worth trying forsure

Twins with that. I think if I meal prep it’ll help better, I just have to buy little freezer containers for my stuff lol. Thank u sm for the advice btw. Makes me feel less alone. I def don’t wanna give up on myself I really really want to say I’ve lost the weight naturally to myself, I want it to work
