I hate when people say just eat. It’s really not that simple. Especially as a college student. I don’t have the money for protein shakes and things like that. Plus I can eat over 3k calories a day and not gain weight. Please stop saying “just eat”

Whole fat Greek yogurt is better than a protein shake and way cheaper. Get a Costco or Sam’s membership

Cheese sticks are also fire for fat and protein

You're really bad at tracking calories if you can't gain weight off of what you think is 3000 unless you're already big

Also some people take medications that suppress appetites as a side effect 🫠 I get nauseous and sometimes even throw up when I try to eat bulking portions

You don’t need protein drinks to grow. Cottage cheese, rice, canned tuna, potatoes, and lentils are excellent options for bulking. Track your calories, you can get a cheap food scale for 20 bucks. If you can’t cook, spam, sardines, oats, peanut butter, cheese.

Idk your height and bodyweight but you wouldn't be complaining like this unless you were still decently small, and you'd have to be doing a lot of additional exercise every day to get to 3000 calories, which you could easily stop doing if you actually cared about gaining weight. Just plug your stats into a maintenance calculator and see what it spits out

found this all on google btw, simple search of, “cheap ways to build muscle” “how to build muscle as broke college student” “how to build muscle without cooking”. If you really wanted it, it’s as simple as finding ways to eating more.

“Easily stop doing” or I have to walk a minimum of 2 hours a day to get to all of my classes and then all the other places I walk like getting food going and hanging out. I have a life outside of the gym lol.
