
I think the gym community here would point you in the direction of diet/counting calories. Obviously be mindful of a healthy diet, but from a football perspective, I’d just focus on your cardio. It’ll help you drop weight plus the cardio will carry over to the field. I think new school coaches would frown at long distance runs, but that’s my go-to. If you can feel good running a mile, having to chase a collegiate qb in a hurry-up offense wont feel as difficult
