ok i’ve looked literally everywhere so i am now going to ask here: how much protein do i really need to build muscle as 5’6” 128lb woman?? everywhere says something completely different🫩 i currently aim for ~120-130 grams a day is that okay???

a lot of sites say i need much lower while others say i need more. like i just want an answer..

The correct amount to MAINTAIN muscle is 0.8g per kg of bodyweight, but to build muscle 1.8-2g per kg of bodyweight is best (I studied this in class)

For Americans 1 kg =2.205 lb so per 1lbs get around .8 g of protein for gaining
