The guy saying that women should only be getting 1200 calories a day made TWO posts talking about it and he blocked me so if you see someone arguing with him in the comments and they stopped replying, that’s why!

I’m pretty sure he is just trying to get attention and interactions, but it’s always possible he is just not understanding correctly. 100lbs seems small in comparison to the average male bodybuilder who eat 3000+ calories so 1800 may seem like a lot to him for a person that size to be eating, but the weight:calorie ratio stays pretty consistent all throughout

I think people forget that the majority of the gym community tends to be heavier than the “average” person in addition to their lifestyle burning more calories than someone sedentary

You shouldn’t be so confidently commenting on something you are confused about

These are my stats that I entered, at 6’2 and 210lbs my calories are almost double those of the theoretical 4’11 100lb person, which makes sense because because I am also double the weight

Yeah I agree with you, he was basing maintenance on the no exercise option and called me an idiot bc I did the calculation with daily exercise like you did. But this all started from a post on here saying adult women (specifically in this group) need more than 1200 cals a day and he reposted it and said most women don’t, so the posts were specifically about women who are active daily but he wasn’t calculating that.

I am glad to know I wasn’t misinterpreting something, the comment from #1 had me worried
