I really want to work out but I’m so scared that people will make fun of me for working out as someone who’s recovering from anorexia 💔 is there anyway to get over this random fear?

The ppl that make fun of you are unsatisfied with their own progress

Mean gym people only exist online tbh. Like no one is gonna come up to you at the gym and say something mean bc everyone’s focused on themselves. If anything they’ll be like “Yaa I remember my first time doing xyz, it gets easier though”. Also, id recommend maybe trying Pilates because most studios are only women so it feels safer and theyre SOO nice and encouraging. I honestly cry most classes bc everyone is so nice to me and it feels safe.

Just knowing the gym is actually so full of supportive people bc everybody can relate to feeling uncomfortable when they started. To me especially if u start the gym to help ED recovery I have nothing but massive respect for u

Nah, lowkey everyone kinda their own business even if it feels like they’re staring. Everyone is worried abt themselves.

Hey, this just popped up in my unread. First off, don’t care what anyone thinks. If they have something negative to say about a stranger they’re not worth listening to anyway. I’m proud of you for overcoming what you’ve gone through! ❤️
