ok so i wanna gain weight but build muscle at the same time. can i do that whilst bulking? i weigh 140 pounds.. and have never been able to reach my goal 160/165. so i’ve been working while eating a protein shake in the morn then a lot of food later on 😭

The whole point of gaining weight (in a lifting context) is to put on muscle. Find out what your maintenance caloric intake is and then go into a decent surplus. If you’re still not seeing results after a couple weeks, up the calorie intake even more.
