have fiber after your workouts, and find fiber sources that dont upset your stomach

student dietitian here. with fiber if you’re body isn’t used to it you need to introduce it slowly and slowly increase the number of grams per day. men should have 35 g a day and women should have 25 g a day

Do you have certain ones that work for you? I already do these things but really any fiber upsets my stomach when I’m active and always kind of has. Bananas are okay but I’ve eaten so many of them even the smell makes me feel sick. Might just see a doctor tbh 💀

Id see a dietitian, but in the meantime heres what id do: reevaluate your eating habits, do you chew your food enough and not too fast? Make sure to have lots of water to balance out fiber intake but im sure you already do that. Try sneaking fiber into your foods by adding chia seeds or raspberries to your meals (raspberries are my go to, they never upset my stomach). Try going on a short walk/not laying down after meals as well

fiber is amazing for your digestive system but i think the amount you can tolerate depends on the person! maybe try reducing your intake and then slowly increase it again

Honestly might be aiming a little high. Like I’ve always had a balanced diet pretty much, my parents are garden people to put into perspective, might just need to stop over thinking it. Thank you!
