Gym on Sidechat | this is gonna be a rly dumb question. I was shopping for ground turkey but it was in the “plant based” meat section. Thats the only place I could find it. On the package it says ingredients are turkey and other natural flavors. It’s not plant based is it?

If it’s in the plant based section it might be. Usually it’s separate from a meet section. Search up the brand name.

It’s Jenni o 99% lean…if it WAS plant based, would the ingredient be different?

Looked it up it seems like Turkey. If it was plant based would maybe say tofu, soybean/pea protein wheat starch, wheat gluten called seitan (I’m taking this from Google but seems abt right)
