helps with my joint pain, skin and hair feels healthier. that’s about it. i only take it for my joints though because i got issues

hell no, we can’t even use collagen powder in our bodies. people think it actually effects collagen levels 😭

harvard in 2023: collagen in its whole form cannot be absorbed. it must first be broken down into peptides in order for adequate absorption. collagen peptides are the supplement i take due to their high bioavailability and proven absorption index according to papers from 2015, 2024, and 2025. bovine (cow) peptides are the common form on market which increase concentrations of collagen (micrograms/mL) in the blood by a factor of 6.2. just wanted to pass along the most current research!

I think there’s just some sort of masculinity complex about certain supplements like collagen because of their marketing
