I can hold my deadhangs for a lil longer now, but end up having to let go cuz my hands hurt not cuz my muscles are tired. Anyone have any tips?

Tape the bar if it’s rough

try to twist your hand a little more around the bar so the pressure is at the base of your fingers and not on them, otherwise just stay consistent and your hands will build up and hurt less
