reminder if you’re cutting (especially if you’re already healthy), PLEASE TRACK THOSE MACROS. like religiously, it’s so easy to get malnourished. cutting is not an excuse to get an eating disorder.

Don’t just track protein and calories either, you need to track all you macros or at the minimum protein, fats, carbs, and calories

0.3-0.5g of fat per lb of bw, women may want to be on the higher end though for horomone regulation, 0.8-1g of protein per lb of bw, most will be fine at 0.8 but its fine to experiment, and 1-2g of carb per lb of bw, allocate most of your carbs before and after lifting.

it might be stupid but i’m pretty aware of how i eat and cut for like 2 weeks without tracking and now there’s a brittle line in my fingernails cus i was eating too little.

Also, if you’re wanting to lose weight, I wouldn’t eat in too deep of a deficit unless a medical professional told you so. Now, if you wanted a similar timeframe, increase your walking to around 7,000-12,000 steps per day. However, make sure you’re able to recover from it so that your lifts aren’t negatively impacted from it.
