Tibialis raises are good for strengthening the muscles around your shins and even your knees. Running shoes can play a huge factor especially if you’re only running on cement. Cement has no cushion or give like a rubber track at schools so all the force you’re putting into the ground is being returned and absorbed by your body, which is why your shins are hurting. Running on turf and grass is also really good to help ease you into it!
