How do you build a routine to do at the gym? I want to start going back, but I struggle with what exercises to do and what order I should do them in, but I want my muscles back 😔

it depends on what keeps you coming back!! your split will depend on the amount of rest days you want and what you want to target. but honestly, it’s best to skip trying to make the perfect “most optimal” split if you struggle to build a routine. instead i’d focus on what you look forward to. whatever keeps you excited to stay consistent is where to start!! if you know how many rest days you want or what kind of split you’d like i’d love to help out!

Thank you! I’m trying to do full body to be honest, and I have three to four days where I’d be able to work out. I really want results in my legs since they’re on the scrawny side

It might be easier to split up ur days to a upper/lower/cardio&core that way u can really work on targeting and healing ur muscles, but honestly do what feels best for u!!

you could totally do upper, lower, rest, upper, lower, rest, rest! that way you hit each muscle group twice a week. however, if you only have the ability to go 3 times a week one week, you should totally do what OP#2 said- upper, lower, cardio/core! or upper, lower, full body. i also like to throw in an exercise or two of core in my lower days & 20mins incline walk in my upper days (after the workout)
