Hi loves!! Iโ€™m very new to the gym and starting my fitness journey! I was wondering how I can develop a routine or know which days to work out certain parts of my body? Iโ€™d appreciate any advice!! This seems like a lovely community! ๐Ÿ’—

I suggest when starting out, don't push yourself to the point where it gets overwhelming. It's okay to start small with a few things that you're comfy with. This is how I started, and once I got comfy with a few things, I'd add a new exercise to learn every month or so :)

i do weekdays, prioritizing lower body growth monday-glutes and quads tuesday- back and bicep wednesday- shoulders chest and triceps thursday-glutes and hammies friday- abs and cardio!!! mine is kind of intense just make sure to not hit the same muscle group multiple days in a row. everyone is different itโ€™s important to find what works best for you. you got this!!

id definitely say use the events they have on campus yoga Pilates ect.

and do cardio AFTER your workouts not before, unless itโ€™s a light warm up. and always stretch before and after

The most important thing starting out for people who get easily discouraged is start light and sweet and MAKE SURE ITS FUN. Also i recommend tracking progress at the start so you can see how you improve; this is one regret i have. Hope this helps! Also make sure you're getting enough protein!!!
