hi guys any advice on how to start at the gym? i’m a girl!! i really wanna work my glutes, legs, & abs !! so nervy to start going without knowing what to do though because it’d be in my campus gym lol

personally when i started i followed a lot of girl lifters on insta!! Diana Comforti is my personal fav😛 but find the ones who are motivational and not judgy or arrogant in their posts! keep it positive and stay consistent! make sure you’re eating roughly a gram of protein per pound of BW to put on that muscle, and good luck!! :)

1. find a program online. if you want to grow in size look for a "hypertrophy" program. it should match your frequency (days/week) 2. pick a timeslot to go. put it in your calendar. i recommend going immediately before or after other commitments like work or school. 3. go once and just try out the program. this is a practice run to find all the equipment you need and determine your working weights (you should reach failure or get close at the end of a set) 4. eat and sleep 5. keep going
