I want to lose weight and get more toned but every time I try a calorie deficit I end up not being able to fall asleep because of hunger. Does anyone have any recommendations for low calorie foods that fill them up?

As far as snacks go halo top, pure protein cosmic brownie bars, yasso bars, quest protein chips(I love the chili lime), turkey pepperoni and cottage cheese, and not-so-high-in-protein but Drizzilicious rice cakes are the shit!

Also if you don’t like ground turkey or don’t have the time do be doin all that, Jimmy dean delight bowls/sandwiches are super quick and easy, as well as the brand “real good” chicken strips, they’re killer and have really good macros

also consider a smaller deficit and eating a larger dinner relative to your other meals. it will take longer but it'll be sustainable

In addition to the high protein-low cal the other comments mention: popcorn, low cal fizzy drinks/a lot of water, and high fiber

I’ve been prioritizing low cal high protein meals/snacks since the beginning of this year. My favorite recipes use ground turkey- it’s so high in protein and since it’s fairly bland you can make it into whatever you want with seasoning and add ons. Taco bowls, burger bowls, protein pasta, or just straight up turkey and your choice of veggies for volume

No problem! I know it sounds crazy but I’ve found it’s way easier to get recipes for all those things through Pinterest of all places. I usually just tweak them to my liking but it’s definitely way easier than trying to sort through all the different influencers on ig and tiktok lol
