For physically fit, you mean getting the “toned look,” that’s by strength training aka weightlifting since that’s the only way to build muscle mass. Cardio + pilates is great for cardiovascular health and can help with burning fat on a calorie deficit, but it doesn’t build muscle with no progressive overload + strength gaining in lifting heavier (as a outcome of building muscle).
