Depends on your goals. TNF is a great influencer I would recommend for getting into the gym + calorie deficit. For physically fit, you mean getting the “toned look,” that’s by strength training aka weightlifting since that’s the only way to build muscle mass. Cardio + pilates is great for cardiovascular health and can help with burning fat on a calorie deficit, but it doesn’t build muscle with no progressive overload + strength gaining in lifting heavier (as a outcome of building muscle).

Lil cardio lil weights and you’ll learn more as you go…. That’s what worked for me! Also TikTok workouts 🤣 as long as you’re being smart about which sources you believe

Sorry if this isn’t a clear cut explanation, feel free to ask for clarification. TLDR: what is best for you is relative to your goals. For example, if you want to put on muscle or weight loss on a calorie deficit, those would look like different approaches, i.e. weight loss is primarily dependent on dietary so gym isn’t actually necessary at all, though cardio can help with burning calories and weightlifting isn’t necessary. But for muscle growth, weightlifting is essential.
