does anyone get tired of people constantly commenting on how you “look so good” after losing weight

I was anorexic and had to start on a high protein diet because I was so small I didn’t recognize myself and now people tell me that I look bigger now and not healthier. Some people don’t realize what’s going on behind the scenes, you just have to ignore them and keep working on you ! 💗

I feel like it makes me a bit insecure in a weird way. I didn’t look so good before? Yk because that was still me. So I still hold that version of me close to myself

exactly like yes i love the progress i’ve made but id also like to consider my past self as a version of me that was equally as valuable and lovable as the version i am today

Exactly. You get it. It also makes rest days feel like a crimeee because I’m so scared of going back to how I used to look.
