You need resistance training to build muscle while losing weight. It’s a non negotiable. This is my tip -plant fitness membership, strength training 4-5x a week - buy a cheap walking pad with an incline and when you have time to sit on couch walk on it - limit your fats to 50, don’t consistently go bellow - slowly lower calories until you start loosing weight - eat your lean mass in protein
Hi!! I have food advice! Meal prep has been so nice, my fav is egg sausage breakfast burritos with a chipotle sauce and a beef burrito bowl with cauliflower rice!! HIGH protein and low carbs is best imo, the more protein you eat the more full you’ll be for longer so you won’t just mindlessly snack. Some form of cardio with strength training mixed in is also good!
Hi. I am actually in the same boat if not a little worse. I am F22 5’6 250lbs. I have lost 10lbs so far after 2 months. One thing that I found that helps is tracking protein intake. Protein makes you feel fuller for longer, and it will sustain blood sugar levels so you don’t crash out later in the day. Also gets those steps in (minimum of 10,000 daily). Right now I am eating 2300 calories, because I was eating eating 3500. If you cut the intake to drastically to quickly you will fail.
