Start reallllly slow, like almost unbearably slow. Go for as long as possible with that pace, walk if you need too

Start with run/walk intervals if running the whole time is too hard. Keep track of your mileage, and don’t increase it too much too fast if you want to avoid injuries. Once you are comfortable with running, varied training with easy runs, long runs, tempo runs, and track workouts can help you improve your speed and endurance.
