never try to punish yourself it doesn’t feel good and feeling good matters the most. the important part is to remind yourself what you really want and why! emphasis on the whyyy. i personally workout because i want to be strong and feel confident in my body so i embody that at the gym. mentally and positive thinking can get you so far, but be patient, take breaks when needed, you will fail and get back up a million times and it is always worth it
The biggest thing is starting small with the weight loss bc it won’t feel as restricting and finding good copy cats for higher calorie foods. I started with plain white bread bc keto is pretty similar and if you drink almond milk switch to the lower calorie one. That helped me so much with still making sandwiches and coffee at home
It’s definitely hard but once you are consistent and see results it makes you want to go more (at least for me) I still beat myself up at times because I feel like I’ve been going to the gym for a while now and I’m not where I think I should be. Overall, don’t compare yourself to others and love yourself regardless!! Show up for yourself, you got this!!
Also, maybe change the focus from trying to lose weight to trying to gain health. Non-negotiables like daily movement, protein, fiber, and three balanced meals a day should keep you more full and avoid restrict-binge cycles. Work towards health as a lifestyle not a punishment or phase. You’ve got this girlie, pick your battles and take little steps, all or nothing wears you out. One win every day if that’s it. Show up for yourself, get someone else to hold you accountable. U can do this
