commenting because me too. I feel like starting slow with lower weight until you have a solid grasp on form is probably our best bet

NEVER lock your joints when lifting. Always keep knees and elbows at least slightly bent and engage your core for more stability

this is the same advice for machines but it’s extra important with lifting
