DO NOT DO AN EXTREME CALORIE DEFICIT IF YOU ARE WORKING OUT or doing it in general your body needs that nutrients and it’s okay to eat foods you love and not just chicken and rice because that’s boring, there are sooo many macro friendly meals and sweet treats out there and it’s just a matter of trial and error of what you like and don’t like, depending on your body and how much you’re exercising and the calorie intake for women is different so it usually ranges from 1600-1900

calorie deficit? cardio at the end of each lifting session?

and I also think that no amount of lower body fat percentage is ever gonna be enough in your brain because of that extreme body dysmorphia so that’s where the loving your body comes in

it’s just what works best for your body so like at the end of the day are you still hungry? so you might need to up your calorie intake (i am not a medical professional in any way but i do have a lot of personal experience) ALSO having a food scale is REALLY helpful

its also normal to feel frustrated and stuck, i have hashimotos and that in itself makes it hard for me to loose any amount of weight but you got this!

this might sound kinda cheesy but i think also going on a journey on learning how to love yourself and your body and what it does for you is also important it was very helpful for me it might help you

ya def it’s just harder for me bc somedays i look smaller and i feel like im getting smaller and other days i dont ? but i also have extreme body dysmorphia but i just would like a lower body fat percentage so i can feel and look like im actually active yk ?

this is fair i also have body dysmorphia sometimes and i think that just has to do with us being women and society telling us we need to be a certain size which is bull shit but! if you’re working out you need that muscle and fat and also “actually active” doesn’t have a specific look there are soooo many people that are different shapes and sizes like for me i am 5’1 190 right now and i play rugby i lift and push heavy i eat well for the most part and i can do all of that because of my body

yea thats why u cant stick with it, would you rather see results and be unable to keep them bc you keep yoyo dieting or be patient and consistently keep the weight off?

patience is key you’re not gonna lose 30 pounds in a month for one that’s unrealistic and very unhealthy
