i’m 5’4 and w/o extreme restriction(which i’m not willing to commit to) i fear i’ll never feel skinny. ik im not that short, but i always feel bulky and compact. there’s no reason why i should feel like that at 130😭

If it makes you feel any better I'm the same height as you but I'm still trying to gain a little bit of muscle mass at 135 lbs. I need them thunder thighs

Well I'm just wondering if you want to be skinnier bc of societal standards or bc you genuinely feel happier and more comfortable? Cuz for me personally I prefer to be a bit more bulky bc it makes me feel stronger and more independent. (Coming from someone who was chronically underweight for most of my childhood)

i think it would make me feel better about my body tbh. i’m from the other side i’ve been bigger my whole life and now im getting “leaner” i wanna see hoe far i can maintain it yk

That's very valid, in my personal opinion tho, 130-135 lbs at that height doesn't look too bulky imo. Which is why I want to bulk more. Best wishes to whatever your goals are tho!

My only other suggestion is to replace higher cal with lower if you really wanna lose some weight. Not that you have to. But it helped me

oh dw i know how calorie deficits and thermodynamics work, my point of the post is that it would be incredibly difficult to get to my goal due to being short yk
