Feeling pretty shitty about myself bc I have been so good for the past week, went to the gym 3x and had a 300-400 calorie deficit every day, still gained 3.5 pounds :( how :(

thank you both! I’ve been drinking a lot of water so maybe it’s just that, I should prob not be weighing myself so frequently anyway if little fluctuations bother me this much lol

Don’t pay attention too much to the scale. Weight fluctuates 5-8 lbs in my experience. Period, constipation, water weight (carbs retain more water), gaining muscle weight(weighs more than fat) You’re in a great place right now. Just keep it up. Pay close attention to the types of food you’re eating too.

I always have a ton of water weight cause I drink water all throughout the day. Stuff like that just happens !! Don’t let it bring you down, you’re doing great !💗

Are you feeling exhausted- tired after waking up. Falling asleep when your head hits the pillow?? Losing more than a few strand strands of hair when you wash out brush? Feeling forgetful/ brain fog?

If It comes back normal that’s a good sign. If it doesn’t then that could be why you’re gaining weight

Man i went through this exact thing last year!! I had a lot of the hallmark symptoms of a thyroid issue but i did several rounds of lab work with mixed results, and it kind of just fizzled out unanswered. Thank you for your comment, maybe i need to get a second opinion
