i am SHAKING with rage. I woke up this morning and spotted the amazon driver parked in my driveway. Not the street. MY driveway. I asked him to move and he claimed he would be “quick”. That is not good enough for me.I demand respect and for my packages to be delivered with poise. I went back inside and whipped out my trusty binoculars to supervise his every move, as one does when being tested. I have been TRAINED for moments like this, my boundaries were being violated and I knew what needed to happen next…
I believe I am a pioneer for other moms, bravely sounding the alarm about what to look out for when it comes to these sneaky pest of delivery drivers. If I hadn’t intervened, who knows what could have happened. I don’t even like to think about it. This FRAUD of a delivery driver then had the nerve to try and “gaslight” me by saying things like “ma’am please step away from the vehicle” and “I’m just doing my job.” Classic deflection. Textbook behavior. I will not be silenced. I KNOW WHAT IS RIGHT
As he was fiddling with my package (which made me even MORE suspicious) I tiptoed around to his rear left tire and got to work. It was important that I stopped this outlandish behavior before it spread to the other moms in the neighborhood. I am a protecter. I am brave. I know what is right.
Thank you, Chrysanthemum. Your courage does not go unnoticed. Too many people are afraid to speak up because they don’t want to be labeled “difficult” or “asked to leave the premises.” It is so critical that we all stick together to fight against this absolute tyranny. Peace and love!
Please, call me Chrys! As the HOA president in my neighborhood, it takes a strong woman to do why i do and an even stronger woman to do what you did! I told my kids to alert me if our boneheaded delivery driver tries to do anything this inappropriate 😡😡😡 -Chrysanthemum Dingleberry
