Siouxsie and the Banshees, Sisters of Mercy, and Clan of Xymox have drawn me in the most so far. And Depeche Mode, but I’m now aware they are just kinda goth adjacent, not actually goth themselves.

You can start off with sort of the intro to goth music basics (Siouxsie & the banshees, Bauhaus, The sisters of mercy, The cure, Christian death, etc) but you can also delve into other bands like Clan of xymox, London after midnight, Rosetta Stone !!

Cure, joy division, depeche mode, bauhaus, siouxsie and the bandhees, echo and the bunny men, and New order are pretty cool
