To be fair to him, his paper probably requires direct citations which professors are more likely to accept from YouTube of all things than “here is the sentiment of x message board.” I’m not saying he’s right but academia is skewed that way sadly.

Right????? I’m explaining to him all the ways that YouTuber is wrong rn, of course people have been trying to capitalize on the aesthetic associated with the moment but that doesn’t mean it’s no longer a movement
