once there was an already dead cat in the road and i couldn’t avoid it due to traffic next to me on both sides so i had to run him over he was a beautiful orange tabby i cried the entire rest of the drive home bro

FYI swerving for any animal is incredibly unsafe, ESPECIALLY a squirrel. Swerving for a squirrel puts you and other people in danger, also you're less likely to hit the squirrel if you maintain constant velocity, they almost always get out of the way (unless you swerve into their escape path)

Yeah I’m well aware, I only swerved since it was a very quiet road, I tried to swerve to escape their path and usually that works but this was the first time a squirrel changed its mind at the last second 😭😭😭
