i stopped drinking alcohol. i don't drink soda as often (i used to drink a ton of coke). i don't eat out as often, maybe once a week now. i only try to eat when my body tells me i'm hungry, and i drink a ton of water now and keep hydrated. lots of protein & whole grains too. also eating in a caloric deficit most days, and i try not to snack at night or anything like that.

I started drinking these protein juices in between meals to help curb hunger. I have half a serving, which is like 50 extra calories and 12 g of protein. And it’s done wonders for keeping me in a calorie deficit.

yeah so these just aren’t any good seemingly.. not sure what you’re drinking but no source of protein in juice form will reach a ~4.17cal/g of protein ratio, uncooked chicken breast with zero visible fat will be ~4.7cal/g & the theoretical optimum is calculated to be ~4cal/g. If it is accurate about the grams, it is 110% purely collagen not a full protein and not helpful for your body in that sense

They don’t replace meals, I drink half a serving twice a day. And even if it’s not physically doing anything if it has some sort of placebo effect and it’s cutting down on the amount of snacking. It’s working.

yeah not a full protein. you’re drinking it but it’s not helpful to your body —> full protein like whey isolate is much much better

Even if it’s helpful in a placebo way, it’s still helping. My goal is to be in a calorie deficit. Not to bulk up on protein. This helps me stay away from excessive snacking. I’ve lost 10 pounds this month doing this. It works for me. I don’t really care what you think. You don’t know me or how my body works. And I can have whey isolate. Fat and carbs are removed from clear whey, which is what I need in my dieting situation. I’m trying to lose weight. Not bulk up.

it’s not what I think it’s what’s fact. Seemingly by your distraught response you are what they refer to as a ‘fat bitch’. Whey isolate will have very similar macros at a 5cal/g ratio. There is little to no fat in whey isolate as is, carbs are minimal 1-2g per serving, maybe eating less is what you need not drinking whey that isn’t too helpful for you 💀
