I moved back home 2 years ago after a bad relationship. Stayed w my family. Got closer to my parents. Saved money. Proud to say that I now have 129k in checking, 22k in my 401k, & almost 60k in my Roth, new friends, and a healthy relationship.

Great job but you really shouldn’t be holding that much in checking. Put like 80k of that at least in an index fund or at least a high yield savings account

I was living in the city in a toxic situation for a few years. Being back w my family was healing. It might be worth it.

No financially I am going to have to. It is nice that your family is non toxic. I would like to get closer to most of my family members. And for one of them I cannot describe on a “good vibes only” community

I forgot to say of the 129k, 107k is in stocks, 22k is in high yield savings, and $8ish is in checking/ cssj.

Im probably older than you so that helps. But, I’m trying to save $2-3k each pay check and put it aside. That + stock investments + my bonus + any cash gifts get saved.
