You could’ve been reincarnated as a bacterium, or a blade of grass, or a little mushroom, or an insect. Given all the individual lives on Earth, you had less than a 0.5% chance to be reincarnated as a human being. Man!! Aren’t we fortunate?

if you don’t retain any memory or characteristics of your previous lives then reincarnation is arbitrary and might as well not exist. you tried though :)

Even if you don’t remember anything about your past lives — isn’t it wonderful to know the circumstances in which you were born now, knowing that it could’ve been something else? 😊 You don’t need to have been born poor to appreciate the wealth you have now :)

My friend, do you need to be homeless to appreciate your house? Do you need to be poor to appreciate your wealth? One does not need to experience misfortune in order to acknowledge their gifts!

actually, yes. pleasure without the experience of pain is utterly meaningless. you kind of played yourself with this one.

Acknowledging one’s privilege does not require the presence of misfortune! While experiencing hardship can deepen your appreciation of your privilege, the lack of it doesn’t invalidate it! All it takes is a mindset that can appreciate the wider scope and our place in it 😊 I hope you carry this with you, my friend, because it will help you appreciate what you have now.
