
I wish I was you😭when I was in 9th/10th I played the piano, I was in clubs, I read a bunch of books for fun. Now that I’m a freshman in college, I don’t do any of those anymore and my screen time is five hours😭 and what’s worse is that I don’t even post much on social media, just scroll
It’s not so much that it bores me, it just gives me so much anxiety. I curbed my TikTok addiction months ago, and when I try to get on it now I just instantly get so nervous. And the thing is, I was ALWAYS that nervous when I was on it before, I just got used to it overtime. I never realized how horrible it was to my mental health until I distanced myself from it.
I used ScreenZen to help cut back on my usage, but you really have to be willing to do it yourself. I’ve tried to do this so many times but now it’s finally worked because I decided I was done with wasting all my time scrolling. I still use social media but much less, which I think makes it easier. Just pick up some hobbies in whatever you find interesting and put more of an effort into reaching out to friends! It really feels great
